Wednesday, September 28, 2022, On-Demand

During the two-year project to implement a digital learning ecosystem with Canvas, UFV designed a strategy to facilitate digital transformation in education. A series of initiatives have been launched to support the people involved in the teaching and learning process including:

- Self-learning and self-management courses that allow people to be autonomous and grow in their digital competence.
- Experimentation spaces where they can put learning into practice and be innovative without fear of error.
- Personalized support in weekly tutoring sessions that allow teachers to receive technological and pedagogical advice.
- Community problem-solving through a forum where teachers can raise issues or volunteer to help resolve their colleagues' issues.
- Implementation of a training plan synchronized with each stage of the teaching-learning process.
- Coordination and communication spaces by user groups (students or teachers).
- Announcement of important milestones during the course through the different Canvas communication channels.
- Information campaigns through Impact that bring important messages to the community in the right place at the right time.
